Passion Week

Jesus' last week before He was crucified was like no other week in the history of the world. Jesus experienced riding into Jerusalem on a donkey and being herald as king and being worshiped as the Lord. Jesus is both King and Lord. The world did not recognize this truth and the religious leaders persecuted Jesus because of that truth. Jesus taught His disciples many things this last week and He encouraged them what to do once He was raised from the dead. Most of the people were still looking for a king to come and remove the bondage of the Roman government but Jesus came to remove the bondage of sin. Isaiah 53 clearly taught that but for a variety of reasons this was not seen nor understood until after the resurrection. I keep being that up because we live on the side of the resurrection and we have the ability to understand the spiritual truth of Jesus' last words through the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to read the gospel writings from the Triumphal Entry through His resurrection. Refect upon and ask the Lord to reveal Himself through His last words. Jesus did all this for you that your sins can be forgiven and then you can begin to live a new life according to Kingdom of God guidelines by the power of the Holy Spirit.
May the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ guide your life.
