Everyone dreams of living a blessed life but many of those dreams are shattered due to circumstances of life. There are basically two ways of seeking the blessed life: one is to pursue it based upon my own thoughts and ways or two is to pursue it based upon God's thoughts and ways. As a believer in God who made the heavens and earth and who set all the laws in how life is to work I would be foolish not to based my pursuit of a blessed life upon God's thoughts and ways. Unfortunately the cause of the first sin was to do life their way rather then God's way. Adam and Eve saw the fruit was good and they ate even though God told them not to eat. God told Cain that if he would only do what is right would he not be accepted. This story has been repeated in every nation, generation and God has sent prophet after prophet calling His people back to living their lives after God's thoughts and ways. We live at a time in history that many think with all the advances we have made that we do not need God any longer. That is a huge mistake because the principles of God worked when Abraham lived by them and will work today. They worked when King Daved lived by them and they will work today. They worked when the Apostle Paul lived by them and they will work today. Do you want to live a Blessed Life? My encouragement then is to pursue it based upon God's thoughts and ways. This is not a pick and choose process though, it includes all of God's principles. All of His principles work whether it concerns our spiritual life, relational life, physical life, financial life, recreational life, or our work life. God's way will work every time it is tried.
May the God of all light shine upon us with revelation of His ways and then give us grace to walk in those ways.
