There are many aspects of our relationship with Jesus that I could talk about to anyone who is willing to listen but understanding that Jesus is my source will affect many areas of my life. In the gospel of John, Jesus is presented as the Creator which means Jesus is my source for my very existence. I thank God that I have been created in the image of God. I have purpose and God has a plan for my life. By the way that is true for every person ever born. Jesus is the source for any of the gifts and talents that I have whether thy are spiritual or physical or any type of gifts that I have received. Thank You Jesus for being my source for my existence. Also in the gospel of John, Jesus is presented as my Savior which means Jesus is the source of eternal life. Jesus died on the cross and through His sacrifice I have forgiveness of sin and have received His life within me. There is no greater miracle that I have ever received or could receive when I was headed to a godless hell to be loved by God through Jesus Christ and now I am headed to heaven to spend all eternity with my Creator and Great God. Jesus is my source and the only source that can make that happen. Also in the gospel of John, Jesus is presented as one who meets my needs. Time does not permit me to be exhaustive for there are so many areas in which He meets my needs. Jesus is my bread of life. Jesus is my light and salvation, Jesus is my shepherd. Jesus is my source for life and hope. Jesus is my peace. Jesus is the calmer of my storms. Jesus is my source for truth. Jesus is my source for my coming resurrection. What I need I can say with 100% confidence that Jesus is my source to meet every need that has ever arisen in my life. The key to receive is to humble yourself before Him and have faith that Jesus is faithful to His Word and will keep every promise of God. May we turn to Jesus as our source for whatever we face this week.
